First Look: Jaimie Alexander As Lady Sif in Agents of SHIELD

News Den Of Geek 2/10/2014 at 3:18PM

Check out the first still of Jaimie Alexander as Lady Sif in the upcoming March 11 episode of ABC and Marvel's Agents of SHIELD.

Jaimie Alexander is joining an ever-growing list of Marvel Studios alumni who are dropping by for a short visit with our friends at Agents of SHIELD, and fans will be happy to have her in the March 11 episode of the series. Because like Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury and Cobbie Smulders’ Maria Hill before her, there is plenty of room for Marvel’s universe on the small screen.

Alexander has appeared twice before as the Lady Sif in both Thor (2011) and Thor: The Dark World (2013), in which she depicted the courageous, unofficial fourth point on the Warriors Three, as they did battle with Loki and other nasty villains. Alexander was also reportedly considered for the role of Wonder Woman in the Batman vs. Superman movie.

Yeah, sure, this will fix everything about the show.

I like the show overall. The Ward character is too stiff though he has had moments of good acting; he needs to be more consistent. Fitz-Simmons accent hinders understanding what they are saying....maybe some voice lessons or different actors for these two. Their acting is fine, but the accents really are difficult sometimes. Coulson, May, and Skye are all well acted...kudos to these 3 actors. The plots decent enough for a weekly show.

The show is one of the best on TV, just because you and the rest are crying over "not having Superheros in it" shouldn't take it out on the actors. It's about Shield, what were you expecting? XD

it's not the lack of superheros , it's the lack of real AGENTS .
It's NOTHING like the SHEILD comics.

How are their accents a hinderance? They are perfectly clear.

So? Does the movies follow the comics? No it doesn't. XD
