Tekken 7 Trailer: Jin Kazama, Devil Jin and Josie Arrive

Tekken 7's already released in Japan, but now more characters will be popping up in the arcade machine, including the poster boy.

Just the other day, Tekken 7 hit the arcades of Japan. This latest installment, which is supposed to be the grand climax to the game’s long-running story of in-family rivalry, only has a couple dozen characters as of now, but that’s about to change. As shown in this new trailer, main character Jin Kazama and his possessed alter-ego Devil Jin are going to be added to the game.

Man. Devil Jin’s really going to town on that Rage Art attack. Digging the laugh too.

Jin first appeared as the new main protagonist in Tekken 3, the son of Kazuya Mishima and the late Jun Kazama. Devil Jin showed up in Jin’s Tekken 3 and Tekken 4 endings before being playable in Tekken 5. Cursed to be possessed by the uncontrollable and nigh-unstoppable Devil Gene, Jin Kazama has become obsessed with finding a way to not only destroy himself but his entire family bloodline. He’s gone as far as taking over his grandfather Heihachi Mishima’s criminal empire. He was last seen antagonizing Tekken 6’s end boss Azazel in hopes that they could kill each other. Apparently, it didn’t work out the way he had hoped.

After spending the last few games fighting the likes of his father, grandfather, cousin, great-grandfather, and uncle, Jin and his Devil self will have to take on his grandmother Kazumi Mishima.

Meanwhile, we’ve also gotten a look at new fighter from the Philippines, Josie Rizal. Here’s her in action, where she gets a little too emotional at the end.

Jin Kazama will be unlocked in the arcades on March 31st. Devil Jin will be a week later on April 7th. There’s no solid info on when Josie is showing up yet. There’s also no word yet on when Tekken 7 will be coming to America, nor when it will be hitting home consoles. Humorously enough, the Japanese arcade version will be used at this year’s Evo. That’ll be interesting.
